"My dad decided to switch us from Geico to State Farm and if I could have looked into the future, I would have said no. My first issue is my insurance has only ever gone UP, I have a spotless driving record, no tickets or accidents, Nothing. And every 6 Months it just climbs. When I called to ask why it went up. Your know what I was told? By law we are allowed to raise your insurance. Great, so you just woke up one day and decided to raise my insurance rate because the law allows it? Uh ok. Second thing. When my dad did pass away. It was almost in-possible to get him off the insurance and to remove his bike. I called and let them know he passed and they pretty much refused to remove him and his bike and wanted me to keep paying. I flat told her that I wont be paying for the bike and they decided to put it on a hold so I wouldnt get charged, I even sent in the death certificate to prove he had passed away and they still wouldnt remove him, or the bike. Finally I would say a few months later they called me for an update about the bike. I then again told them that he passed away. and there was a copy of the death certificate sent in AND the bike wasnt even in mine or his name. it was actually in his brothers. After that they finally took him off. So they will take a bike off insurance if its not in their name but not if they pass away? what? ( Also I do not have a motorcycle endorsment) after this I really did consider changing car insurance. But I stayed. Now we move on to the straw that broke the camels back. I have been with this insurance company/agent for four years. and I have paid extra money every policy renew to have roadside service. I have 2 vehicles. I have used roadside service five times in those four years. three times for one vehicle and two times for the other. and this is a span of four years. I got a call after being at work all day letting me know that they will be dropping only one of my cars from roadside service because of (frequency of roadside service coverage claims) And the person from this agency I talked to was not helpful. Not really her fault obviously someone made a decision and told her to call me, but I was pretty much told that it was up to their descretion to drop my roadside service or not. So that same night I told her to take my road side service for both vehicles off, Because if I am going to have it dropped for one I will not be using it at all. And I got a AAA membership that is actually cheaper than what I was paying state farm and I get four service calls a year. which checking my record of service calls is a perfect amount. Then I get the Official document in the mail. and I look at the dates from the services for the specific car and it shows four dates and there is a date on there stating I had a service call to tow that car. The kicker? I DIDNT EVEN OWN THAT CAR AT THE TIME! i purchased that specific car in 2022 and its showing a service request for 2021 before I ever purchased the car. Now If this place cant even get this information right? What else is wrong? Not only did they drop my road side service but the information that they are basing it off is INCORRECT. And I was never told when I paid for this that it was up to their descretion how many service calls I get. So I decided to go back to GEICO. I called them up , pretty much got my insurance at the same price and was treated way better than I have ever been treated here. Ill have my Geico insurance that will actually go down overtime because they reward their good drivers AND ill have my AAA that gives me a clear number of service calls allowed. Trust me I could have called and made a fuss but I am tired. I have spent more time on the phone fighting these people than I ever did with GEICO and I should have NEVER switched. The lack of compassion when dealing with my fathers passing and this situation has made the decision very easy."

"Received an unsolicited call from this company stating it was from an online lead source. I informed them that I had not requested any quotes online and while asking to be removed from the list, the (rude and impatient) caller hung up on me. as an Insurance Agency owner myself, I certainly would not want an employee handling these types of situations in such a manner."

"Marion Lenz has made me feel like I am the only customer. What I mean by that is the attention and prompt responses to any question that I have. And more than any question that I have when I have an issue. When I'm frustrated with the Insurance Company? When I feel lost and it's like I am a very small person in a very big world of insurance. He makes me feel like I'm part of it Like i'm not just a number. The way that he interacts with me as a customer and represents state farm as a whole is a large part of why I am still with state farm to this today."

"Honestly, I've been with state farm over 6 years now and my car insurance has doubled in that time. I'm going to have to go without car insurance because I just can't reasonably afford it. I don't make a substantial amount of money and inflation has made everything more expensive overall."
